A Surprise Motorcycle Proposal at Fort Williams Park | Kyle & Krys
Some love stories unfold quietly, and others arrive with the rumble of a motorcycle engine and the salty Maine air swirling around them. Kyle planned a proposal for Krys that was both adventurous and incredibly romantic, choosing the stunning coastline of Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth as the backdrop for one of the biggest moments of their lives.
With sweeping ocean views, rugged cliffs, and the iconic Portland Head Light nearby, it was the perfect place for a surprise.
The Plan
Kyle carefully planned the moment so that Krys would have no idea what was coming. The evening light was soft over the Atlantic, and the breeze coming off the water added that unmistakable Maine coastal magic.
As they walked along the cliffs at Fort Williams, the moment felt natural and relaxed — just another beautiful evening by the ocean together. But Kyle had something much bigger in mind.
The Surprise
At the perfect moment, Kyle dropped to one knee overlooking the water and asked Krys to marry him. The look of surprise on her face quickly turned into pure joy.
The waves crashing below and the golden light reflecting off the water made the moment feel almost cinematic.
Of course, she said yes.
Celebrating the Moment
After the excitement and a few happy tears, Kyle and Krys took in the moment together — soaking in the view, the excitement, and the beginning of a brand new chapter.
And then, in true adventurous fashion, they hopped on their motorcycle and rode away along the Maine coast — newly engaged and ready for whatever adventure comes next. There’s something incredibly fitting about ending a proposal that way. Wind in your hair, the open road ahead, and the person you love riding beside you.
A Maine Coast Proposal to Remember
Fort Williams is one of the most beautiful proposal locations in Maine. Between the historic lighthouse, dramatic coastline, and endless ocean views, it’s a place where unforgettable moments happen naturally.
Kyle and Krys’s proposal was the perfect reminder that sometimes the most meaningful moments are also the simplest — a thoughtful plan, a beautiful location, and the courage to ask the most important question.
And sometimes… a motorcycle ride into the sunset.
