Shelbi and Greg’s wedding at Poland Spring Resorts in Poland, Maine, was such a wonderful celebration to photograph. As a Maine wedding photographer, I love capturing the people, connections, and personal stories that make each wedding meaningful—and these two have a story filled with adventure.
From a First Date in Maine to a Nashville Proposal
Shelbi and Greg met on Match and had their first date at Run of the Mill on July 11, 2021. That first meeting became the beginning of a relationship built around shared interests, travel, and enjoying life together. They both consider themselves foodies. Shelbi loves to cook, while Greg enjoys grilling and smoking. Their love of exploring extends well beyond the kitchen, too. During their first year together, they traveled to Palm Springs and Maui. Since then, their adventures have taken them to Key West, Bermuda, Niagara Falls in Canada, Nashville, and more.
Nashville became an especially memorable stop on May 2, 2025, when they got engaged outside of Tootsies. Another adventure—and the beginning of their journey toward marriage!

Their wedding brought their story back to Maine, with a fall celebration at Poland Spring Resorts. It was an honor to photograph this chapter for them and help preserve the memories of such an important day.
One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Along with photographs they can treasure, I want my couples to remember feeling supported and able to enjoy their celebration.
After the wedding, Shelbi shared the sweetest words: “I can’t thank you enough, everyone loved you and your energy!!” That message meant so much to me. The experience we create together matters just as much as the photographs.
Their Next Adventure: Italy
With their wedding celebration behind them, Shelbi and Greg were already packing for Italy! For a couple who loves food and travel, it sounds like a wonderful way to begin married life.
