Together in Every Season: A Beautiful Fall Family Portrait Day

There is something so wonderful about bringing family together for photos. Life gets busy, children grow, and finding a time when everyone can be together takes a little planning—but the memories you make are so worth it!

Jaime, Shylah, and Billy are siblings who brought their families together for a beautiful family portrait day. With gorgeous fall colors surrounding us, the day was full of laughter, love, and moments I was so happy to capture.

One of my favorite things about photographing extended families is capturing those different connections. Each individual family has its own story, and when everyone comes together, we get to celebrate the bigger story they all share. Siblings, cousins, and the people they love—all together in photographs that will become more meaningful as the years go by.

Family portraits give us a chance to pause and appreciate this season of life. The children won’t always be this little, and our families will continue to grow and change. Having photographs to look back on is such a gift, both for us and for the generations who come after us.
